Windsor Buskerville Festival 2018
The festival starts Friday, August 10th at 6pm and ends Sunday, August 12th at 6pm.
LiUNA! 625 Presents Buskerville is an Interim Festival that is fun for all ages, so bring the whole family. Enjoy eye-catching vendors, tasty treats, The Windsor Circus School’s Busker Academy, two saucy 19+ shows at the Walkerville Brewery on Friday and Saturday night, and of course spectacular stunts put on by some of the world’s most incredible and unique Buskers.
In Memoriam – Mark Boscariol
To say that the Buskerville Team is saddened by the passing of our incredible partner and friend, Mark Boscariol, would be an understatement.
Windsor, as a whole, is at a great loss. To us, Mark will always be the founder of this festival. He will always be known as the one who brought Buskers back to Windsor – and the one who kept them here. We will continue to work hard for what we believe was Mark’s plan. All proceeds from the group show on Sunday, August 12th at 5pm will be donated to Mark’s passion project:
The Little Things Matter program (https://www.dwcc.ca/
Please, if you can only make it to one show this weekend, make it this one. Come and join us in supporting Mark’s legacy.
Busk at the Brewery – Aug 10th & 11th
Join us for BUSK AT THE BREWERY at the Walkerville Brewery (525 Argyle Rd) on Friday, August 10th and Saturday, August 11th at 11pm. Sip local libations while you enjoy outrageous stunts and adult-only performances!
The first annual “Busk at the Brewery” series will be hosted by The Monsters of Schlock: a two man demolition derby known all around the world as the “brothers of bodily abuse.”
This 19+ event will feature all of your favorite buskers from the festival — doing a shorter, for-adult-eyes-only bit from their show! Plus, the Windsor Circus School will also be showcasing an alluring acrobatic duo that is simply irresistible!
Tickets are $10/pp and can purchased at Eventbrite.ca or in person at Walkerville Brewery.
Map it out!
Argyle Road from Wyandotte to past the Legion, Brant Street from Argyle Road to Devonshire, and Assumption from Argyle Rd to Devonshire will be closed and host the festival’s footprint.
Two performance areas will be within that footprint: one hosted in the parking lot across from the Walkerville Brewery on Argyle Rd, the second in the intersection of Brant Street and Argyle Road.
Blackburn Radio is graciously offering their parking lot and parking is available along most streets.
